in between reality

This morning I find myself struggling to focus, how bizarre, not really ... minor mouth surgery seems to have had some strange effect on me.  Possibly the after effects of anesthetic, anyway after a night of sleep disturbed by pain and hovering helicopters (the police, no doubt searching for streetrats) I feel a little bit like I am living in between reality, everything this morning seems a little off balance, myself included :(
